All vocational training projects of the Swiss development cooperation in Latin America are dealing in one or another way with the issue of development of occupational standards, assessment and certification. INBAS has been contracted by SDC to organise, facilitate, evaluate and document a series of conferences to exchange related experiences between the four countries in the region where SDC sponsored vocational training programmes are implemented.

The Swiss government supports Mongolia with a new vocational training programme that introduces elements of dual-system initial vocational training especially in rural regions. INBAS compiles studies on the local labour market in selected regions and develops a proposal for designing a programme in a series of workshops.

Projects in Germany

INBAS was established in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1991. Today, our headquarters are located in Offenbach am Main, Germany. The focus of our work in Germany are scientific services in the field of vocational training and pre-vocational training for young people.



INBAS has more than 15 years of experience with the development, implementation and evaluation of projects funded by the European Union. We have conducted numerous studies and peer reviews of EU programmes. Part of our expertise is the coordination and preparation of trans-national workshops and conferences.


Projects in Latin America, in the Middle East, Africa and Asia

Since the establishment of INBAS in 1991, the institute has been active in development cooperation together with international partners and experts. Up to now we have planned, implemented and / or evaluated trans-national projects and programmes in the field of vocational education and training (VET) in more than 50 countries.
