Arrivo-EMSA supports refugees over 25 years of age in finding ways how to catch up on a vocational qualification with a focus on the alternatives to initial vocational training. The project is part of the initiative "Arrivo" of the Berlin Senate Department for Integration, Labour and Social Affairs.

The project carried out by the INBAS office in Berlin offers people with a migration background counselling and guidance to complete a vocational qualification. Furthermore education providers receive support in the development of offers for integrated language training as well as competence development counselling.

Projects in Germany

INBAS was established in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1991. Today, our headquarters are located in Offenbach am Main, Germany. The focus of our work in Germany are scientific services in the field of vocational training and pre-vocational training for young people.

 

EU-Projects

INBAS has more than 15 years of experience with the development, implementation and evaluation of projects funded by the European Union. We have conducted numerous studies and peer reviews of EU programmes. Part of our expertise is the coordination and preparation of trans-national workshops and conferences.

 

Projects in Latin America, in the Middle East, Africa and Asia

Since the establishment of INBAS in 1991, the institute has been active in development cooperation together with international partners and experts. Up to now we have planned, implemented and / or evaluated trans-national projects and programmes in the field of vocational education and training (VET) in more than 50 countries.
