“Employment-Oriented Vocational Training in Skilled Crafts” in Jordan –Technical assistance for the programme in consortium with IBF (BE) as partner

INBAS supports the GIZ-implemented Special Iniative 'Skilled Crafts' with the design and pilot implementation of a new qualification for current and future Career Guidance & Counselling practitioners in Jordan. The objective of the Special Initative ist o improve employment prospects of Jordanian youth and Syrian refugees in the crafts professions. The qualification is developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission (TVSDC) and a partner university in Amman. It is linked to the Jordanian National Qualification Framework and informed by international 'good practice'.

Promotion of youth employment, education and vocational training for marginalized youth for the youth employment, education and vocational training for marginalized youth for the prevention of youth violence in Central America (CaPAZ).

Further Information:
The project leads to integration in to the jobmarket of marginalised young people. In collaboration with vocational training providers and vocatioinal orientation institutions and jointly with private sector partners, ten occupations with labour market demand are developed. Furthermore, the partner instituions are trained in psychosocial support for youth.


EU4Skills - Better Skills for Modern Ukraine National Qualification Assessment and Certification Framework Development

The overall objective of EU4Skills is “to reform and modernize the Vocational Education Training (VET) system in Ukraine so it can better contribute to sustainable and inclusive social-economic development via better economic governance, increased diversification and higher labour productivity”: EU4Skills aims to modernise vocational education and training institutions, training school managers and teachers in the seven pilot regions.

The framework contract will serve to provide services for the implementation of EU external aid in the field of human development covering the sectors education/culture/health/vocational education and training/research and innovation. Requests for service provision can concern among others support to design and implementation; preparation of terms of reference and the evaluation of offers; preparation of guidelines for calls for proposals and evaluation of grant proposals; evaluations (‘ex-ante’, interim, ‘ex post’, etc.), monitoring; policy analysis, design and reforms; data collection and analysis;capacity development and institutional strengthening; training and research; awareness raising.


Vocational Skills Development Project (VSDP) II

In cooperation with more than 150 partners from industry and governmental organisations the Vocational Skills Development Project (VSDP) provides market-oriented vocational training to facilitate labour market access for disadvantaged persons, especially young unemployed people, in targeted areas of Myanmar. Women and men with disadvantage backgrounds get access to a Vocational Skills Development Project (VSDP) to further achieve employment or self-employment. The learners can choose from occupational skills development opportunities between tailor, sales clerk, house wirer, beautician, mason, plumber and rural mechanic.
